The bearing rebuild kit for the NP231 comes complete with all the components you need to replace all the required bearings, seals and gaskets. While you are rebuilding your transfer case we always suggest replacing the chain as well. As a chain failure could cause significant damage to your transfer case and should not be overlooked in the rebuild process.
Recognizing this need Vital Parts is offering this NEW transfer case overhaul rebuild bearing kit and BorgWarner transfer case chain
for various applications with Chevy, Dodge and Jeep applications equipped with the NP 231.
Chain specifications: 1.00″ Wide / 31 Links / Round Pin
Oil Pump specification: 38 Spline input shaft ONLY (Tooth Count Is Where the Driveline Connects and NOT a Spline Count on the PUMP)
** Please verify the width of your chain prior to your purchase. Your NP231 case may have either the 1.00″ wide chain or the 1.25″ wide chain. If your case has the narrower 1.00 chain please contact us the correct fitment.
