4 CYL 2.4L 1983-1991 – 5spd, RWD, W55/W56 (aluminum case, removable bellhousing, -7 bolt front retainer, -20mm wide input bearing (HR6307 or 6307-N) 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th synchro assemblies use wire type springs)

4 CYL 2.4L 1984-1991 – 5spd, RWD, W55/W56 (aluminum case, removable bell housing, -7 bolt front retainer, -20mm wide input bearing (HR6307 or 6307-N) 1st-2nd and 3rd-4th synchro assemblies use wire type springs)
This transmission has the reverse gears in the 4×4 adapter or tail housing, not in the case section. This transmission has a 7 bolt front bearing retainer, a 20mm wide input bearing (HR6307NX or 6307-N) and a cast iron center plate.
