This transfer case has two aluminum cases and is chain driven. This transfer case will have a tag that reads “NP149” and is found in the following applications:
CADILLAC: ESCALADE:
8 CYL – 6.0L 2002 – Up – NP149 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
CADILLAC: ESCALADE EXT:
8 CYL – 6.0L 2002 – Up – NP149 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
GMC: YUKON DENALI:
8 CYL 5.3L 2001 – 2005 – NP149 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
GMC: SIERRA 1500 / 2500 / 3500:
8 CYL 6.0L 2001 – 2005 – NP149 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
BK196 COMES COMPLETE WITH:
All main roller bearings (Koyo and Nachi Quest – see photo)
seals, gaskets and complete small parts, needles, snap rings, and washers.
EVERYTHING you will need to fully rebuild and re-seal your transfer case!
