The bearing rebuild kit for the NP261XHD NP263XHD comes complete with all the components you need to replace all the required bearings, seals and gaskets. While you are rebuilding your transfer case we always suggest replacing the chain as well. As a chain failure could cause significant damage to your transfer case and should not be overlooked in the rebuild process.

for various Chevrolet / GMC (full size) applications equipped with the NP261XHD NP263XHD.

**Please verify your chain width prior to making your purchase. GM used 3 different chains in the NP261 & NP263 transfer cases.

8 CYL 6.6L 2001 – 2007 NP 261 / NP 263 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
8 CYL 8.1L 2001 – 2007 NP 261 / NP 263 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
With this transfer case a great way to identify what rebuild kit you need in addition to the output bearing is by the transmission it is married to.
If married to either an Allison/Duramax transmission then this is the rebuild kit you need.
