The bearing rebuild kit for the NP261 NP263 comes complete with all the components you need to replace all the required bearings, seals and gaskets. While you are rebuilding your transfer case we always suggest replacing the chain as well. As a chain failure could cause significant damage to your transfer case and should not be overlooked in the rebuild process.

for various Chevrolet (full size) applications equipped with the NP261 NP263.

8 CYL 6.0L 2001 – 2007 NP261 / NP263 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
8 CYL 8.1L 2001 – 2007 NP261 / NP263 (aluminum cases, chain driven)
With this transfer case a great way to identify what rebuild kit you need in addition to the output bearing is by the transmission it is married to.
If married to either a 4L60e or a 4L80e transmission then this is the rebuild kit you need.
This transfer case is aluminum and chain driven, has a 32-Spline output shaft and 24MM wide output bearing.
